The Ocean and Us, then Women4Oceans, held its first networking event in London in March 2017 followed by two events in Tokyo. These events were extremely and are testimony to the need for more spaces for ocean lovers to come together. With your help we would love to increase the frequency of these community driven events around the world. Consider becoming a chapter organiser or sponsor of these events.
The evenings were guided by panel of speakers, the event itself sought to be inclusive, giving everybody the chance to speak. We allotted time for mini-presentations of up to two minutes and the opportunity of doing short interviews-to-camera in the networking breaks.
