We need a healthy ocean to survive!

The ocean regulates our climate, generates much of the oxygen we breathe, provides us with food, jobs and well-being.

​But the ocean is in crisis. Decades of abuse, largely through ignorance and now greed, are threatening marine life at an unprecedented rate. 

​Over-fishing, destructive legal and illegal fishing, climate change, pollution, poaching of endangered species, the emerging threat of deep-sea mining and many other deplorable practices are taking their toll on the ocean.

To turn things around we must change our relationship with the ocean and rediscover our place in the natural world.  
 
W4O recognizes diversity as a key driver for this change. In particular W4O elevates the feminine perspective in the ocean space and the need for all voices to be heard. The feminine perspective offers unique solutions by considering the collective, innate, undiscovered and future value of the ocean. Every one of us can tap in to our feminine side. Together we can restore the health of our only home.

• Delivers talks on the importance of elevating the feminine perspective in the ocean space.
• Offers bespoke workshops to organizations and institutions working in the ocean space.
• Offers a cheeky app to help level the (gender) playing field at (ocean) conferences.
• Is a partner in the EU co-funded WIN-BIG project - empowering women in the blue economy. - A first of its kind project!
